Suffolk#WeMatter, is a children’s mental health charity focused on supporting children and young people, who are living with a parent or carer experiencing mental ill health.
We offer a free, interactive training session (2.5–3 hours) designed for professionals working with children and young people, including, but not exclusively, safeguarding leads, mental health first aiders, Family Support Workers/Practitioners, SENCO’s, Youth workers/leaders, and wider school or youth staff.
The training is engaging and practical, equipping attendees with tools and confidence to support children in this situation. A central element is the use of our journal, which helps facilitate meaningful, age-appropriate conversations with both the child and, where appropriate, their parent or carer. We also introduce a toolkit of resources, including scrapbooks that children can take away to support reflection and emotional expression.
Please feel free to view and download our booking form for the training we offer and return it by
email to suffolkwematter@gmail.com
We are a Suffolk based charity dedicated to helping professionals

We offer support by delivering a free workshop to professionals
on how to support children and young people and their parents / carers using our journal.
We have produced a flyer that gives a little taste of what we do.
We would love it if you would download it and share it
